- Summary: View of the beautiful waterfall of Querétaro in Mexico. In the first place to the right figure Antonio Pineda seated in attitude of taking a series of notes on the wonderful natural environment around him. Performed during the Malaspina expedition, which took place between 1789 and 1794. Commander Alejandro Malaspina lead the expedition organized by the Spanish crown to tour his American possessions, according to a plan presented by the sailor himself. The material gathered is scattered in different institutions of Spain, England, Argentina and Chile. Signed by the Italian cartoonist Fernando Brambila, who made numerous views of Guam, Philippines, Macau, Vavao, Peru, Chile and Argentina. Antonio Pineda, the character represented on the right, was in charge of the Natural History in the expedition.
