Session 6: Waste management principles

Description:
This session introduces the concepts of waste management and importance of earlier identification of and planning for management of waste streams. It also covers elements of Samoa’s plastics bans and waste management commitments including the use of waste audits and Samoa’s waste accounting. Participants also shared their views and challenged the status quo to suggest novel means of dealing with the waste problem in the Pacific.
