Planted belt of beach grass, Monterey cypress and blue gum Eucalyptus on Samoa Sand Spit, Humboldt County. Trees are protected by yucca band tied to stake but sand has filled these or blown out from beneath them. Grass is alive but being covered. Planting by Little River Redwood Company winter of 1924-25.
