Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF) Sailors aboard the Japanese Defense Ship (JDS) Oyashio Class Submarine Narushio (SS 595) prepare to disembark the submarine as it arrives for a port call in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Japan is one of several countries participating in this year's 2004 Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise. RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands.
