Family members at Hickam Air Force Base (AFB) welcome the Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer USS JOHN PAUL JONES (DDG 53) as the ship transits the channel into Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. JOHN PAUL JONES is visiting Pearl Harbor to take part in Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2004. RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands.
