A U.S. Army Soldier salutes while a joint military Honor Guard carries a casket draped with an American flag containing remains of believed to be of a U.S. military member found in the Papua New Guinea, Laos and Burma area during a repatriation ceremony at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, on Dec. 17, 2004. The remains will be taken to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command where the forensic identification process begins. In the background is a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft.
