US Navy (USN) Lieutenant (LT) Pete Obenauer and USN Hospital Corpsman Second Class (HM2) Richard Cabatit, Naval Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit 6 (NEPMU-6) carry an entomology vector surveillance and control kit to an uploading point as they prepare for deployment to Indonesia. The entomology kits are used to trap mosquitoes, ticks and other disease carrying insects for examination and possible extermination if discovered to be carriers of malaria or dengue fever.
