In preparation for next year's observation of the 50th anniversary of Guam's World War Two liberation, Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 (NMCB-3) clear a historic area at Orote Point, Naval Station Guam. The rock staircase was built near Sumay by Japanese prisoners of war in 1944-46 after American forces had recaptured the island in July of 1944.
