The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF) Japanese Defense Ship (JDS) Haruna Class Destroyer Haruna (DDH 141) passes Hospital Point in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, during arrival honors prior to the multinational maritime exercise Rim of the Pacific 2004 (RIMPAC). RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands. This years exercise will include eight participating nations; Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, Peru, South Korea, Britain and the United States.
