Te iriba. Fan. This is a hand held fan. It is flat in form and circular in shape with a slim cylindrical handle that begins from the centre of the blade and extends outwards. It consists of three material components: Te noko (coconut midrib), te kakoko (pinnules of the young, white and central leaf of the coconut tree) and te ira (pandanus leaf). The central area of te iriba is structured with a series of te kakoko that extend from the centre....
