Te bobwaka. Fishing receptacle. This is a receptacle made of two components: a container and lid. Both are made form te itai (Calophyllum inophyllum) wood with string attachments. Both components have been carved from the vertical length of the tree trunk. The container part is cylindrical in form with a flat, circular base.
