Women Sewing on the Beach
By Guest | Wellington | 11 Aug 2025
I have recently gotten back into sewing, and I love remembering how prevalent sewing is in many forms around the world. I love that this photo has someone sewing on the beach; photos like this inspire me to wonder what led to this, is this a common activity, where is she?
I wish that I could find out where she is, but the mueseum doesn't specify, as far as I can discover, and the photographer visited many islands around 1981.
