- A total of K2.8 billion in bills is still owed to the Private Sector by the government. This figure was specified by the Business Council of PNG who up until recently released numbers in its Second Markets Conditions Survey. Highlights of the results indicate that a majority of businesses surveyed continue to experience revenue and net profit decline half way through 2020 with more business leaders expecting a drop in annual revenue and net profit in Q2 compared to Q2 2020.
