- Prime Minister James Marape has announced his intention to fight corruption in the country. He says, the Independent Commission Against Corruption or ICAC bill, will be presented in Parliament during the November Sitting. The Prime Minister also announced his plans to establish Flexible Open Distance Education or FODE centers in selected Secondary Schools, for students to upgrade their marks. The Prime Minister was speaking during the opening of the Waigani Station of Excellence recently.
