- A woman who has been fighting for 12 years to reclaim her house from the National Housing Corporation has finally won her case. Ellen Tigia resides in Lae but was illegally evicted. Her long battle with authorities and others who claimed her property was featured by EMTV reporters in Lae. Today Housing Minister Justin Tkatchenko and Henry Mokono of Managing Director for NHC presented her the title. She described is as a joyous moment and is looking forward to returning home.
