- The mighty voice of PNG Melanesian People’s Forum is planning to stage a peaceful protest to Parliament on the 22nd February 2022. This is due to the failure from Prime Minister James Marape, not responding to a petition that was presented to him through his chief of staff 18 months ago. PNG Melanesian’s representative Newman Freeman says, the petition was about systematic freedom especially independent economy.
