- Landowners from Tari have made the call to Barrick Niugini Ltd CEO Mark Bistrow and other stakeholders to come clear on their position regarding Hides Gas to Electricity supplying power to Pogera Mine. Over 214 power pylons run from Tari to Pogera on customary land covering 440.4 Hectares supplying Gas to Pogera Gold Mine. Over the last 30 years landowners have not been a beneficiary to the Gas to Electricity business.
