- Cement Buruk Warriors is a rugby league club established by youths in 9mile and has been actively parting in the Northern Suburban Rugby League competition in Bomana. Having played for four years in the competition, the team changed its name only recently to Cement Buruk Warriors. Many of the players in the team a youth that have dropped out from grade 10 and 12 and have turned into sports to keep them away from illegal activities.
