- The former program manager of Special Economic Zone, Brenson Kapo Vera said Karimui is a fertile land in Chimbu province and they have a huge potential for Agri Industrial activities, however having no access to sealed roads continues to affect the transportation of cash crops to the markets. Locals are appealing to their provincial government to build a better road for them as transportation of their cash crops by plane is very expensive.
