Description:
Takitimu dancers performing for the New Zealand Parliamentary party in front of the Government Buildings on the last day of their visit to Rarotonga. The premises of J Kohn and Co can be seen (right), and above them Maungatea peak. Mount Ikurangi is visible in the centre (distance). Before leaving Hon. C.H. Mills presented the Ariki family with New Zealand ensigns, books, and pictures of the King and Queen, on behalf of the New Zealand Government.
