- Description:
- One of a series of sketches commissioned by Manukau City Council for its publication 'Historic Buildings in Manukau City'. It was built in memory of Captain Edwin C Musick, who in 1937 landed the first Pan American Airways Flying Boat on the Waitemata after a flight from San Francisco ... Less than a year later Musick and his crew were killed when their plane crashed near Samoa on a similar flight ..."
