Drums Across the Lagoon (1960)

Description:
New Zealand's National Film Unit presents 'Drums Across The Lagoon'. Beautiful volcanic islands and coral atolls comprise the Cook Islands, one of New Zealand's island territories. The film shows the Cook Islanders' way of life, their agriculture and recreation, their homes and schools. It deals frankly with the problems arising from the impact of modern ways on the ancient Polynesian culture.
