THE PANDANUS PALM By GORDON PELSART-HARRIS «NE of the many things remembered by the visitor to the Northern Territory and North Queensland is the Pandanus Palm, commonly known as the Screw' Palm. The latter name is given because of the peculiar formation of the leaves, which grow spiral-wise in three layers.
