The University of Queensland has a century of links with the Pacific Islands due to geographic proximity and historical ties. All current Schools and many of the Institutes have conducted Pacific research over the last twenty years. This Report was commissioned by Dr Anna Ciccarelli, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and Professor Alan Lawson, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and International) in 2010 at the urging of Professors Clive Moore and Jennifer Corrin.
