Side A: (18-07-74) Rex (Olangga) at Leng. Ridge quarters, party (continued from C40B), karai and others in background. (19-07-74) Linganafelo story on personal history, illness when just married, dreams from father and spirits against marriage, working out whether to stay/go, foreboding thoughts from dreams, etc. Side B: SIBS Ofea speech at opening of Assemblies of God church. (20-08-74) Lingangafelo talking about anticipated holiday, joint trip to Malaita, trouble getting holiday from ‘kambani’ (company) and principles underlying their decision. Story of man claiming to repair watches around North Chinatown, eventually made off with radios. Story about buying a bicycle. Story about time on a bus when man swore at conductor for missing his stop, Linganafelo defended conductor, swearing man took steps (safuru) to make up with Linganafelo. Other musings on life in town, being known but not knowing.
