I visited here in 1986 with the kiwi navy...
I recall being overawed with the local history, also the naval history from World War 2.
60 Japanese warships scuttled ... a modern diving paradise... now part of the fabric of the island's rich pacific history, & it's great to see the work of www.digitalpasifik.org so accessible - ngā mihi nui/thank you,
