The Story of the Crocodile Born of a Man and a Woman

Description:
The story is told by Nathaniel Bako, while Walter Koburu is asking questions towards the end of the recording. A crocodile born of a man and a woman thinks he is a human child, but when he tries to play with other children they get scared and throw stones at him. With a heavy heart, the crocodile decides to live the village and walks till he founds a place "far, far away", from which his village is no longer visible. Technically, that remote place is still on Blanga territory. The crocodile, a giant one now, dwells in the Garanga River and never attaks people who speak Blanga. However, he gets very nervous when hearing other languages.. Language as given: Blanga. You can access this item at the PARADISEC website. You will need to sign up or sign in first.
