- Description:
- Cranium with mandible of Young adult Male. No obvious decorations present that is distinguishable from taphonomic modifications (with the exception of buccal/labial betel nut staining). Skull is a relatively uniform medium reddish-brown, but mottled and lighter tan to "natural bone" color in places, such as sections of frontal and vault, maxilla, lingual left mandible. Light organic black residue on left parietal and right mandibular ramus. Residual light grey sandy-gravel on basicranium, maxilla, orbits, left mastoid, and left mandible. Minimal roots present in basicranium and nasal. Betel black staining on most in situ teeth. No obvious pathology or trauma. Teeth in good condition with minimal wear or calc, no visible pathology and intact alveolii across both arcades. Anterior teeth missing so LEH unassessable and lateral surface of premolars and molars obscured by betel staining. Maxilla:. Mandible:
