Description:

Cranium with mandible of Young adult/Mature adult Female (?). No obvious decorations present that is distinguishable from taphonomic modifications. Skull is uneven in color, ranging from tan-yellow (natural bone) color on frontal, maxilla, mandible, vault, to darker nut brown on the supra-orbitals, zygos, parietals, temporals, and elsewhere on the mandible. Very minimal soil or residue, and teeth moderately stained by soil or a black organic residue (not necessarily betel nut staining). Roots in the orbits, nasal, and basicranium. Root traces or stains on the parietals. Small patches of spalding or surface exfoliation on right parietal and temporal. No obvious trauma, but trauma (or pathology) possibly represented by the generally uneven, slightly pitted surface of the frontal and left parietal). Possibly healed lesions? Teeth mostly present, minimal to moderate wear (heavier on mandibular dentition). Calc of at least score 1 present on most teeth. No obvious caries or fully formed abcesses, but periodontal disease suggested across entire arcade (pitting and alveolar recession). Lateral rUM1 crypt and mandibular molar alveolus especially. Light but open cribra orbitalia in both orbits (pitting w/some possible healing, as opposed to spicules). Possible osteOlder adultrth pitting on both mandibular fossa and center of right mandibular condyle. Maxilla:. Mandible:
