Description:

Cranium with mandible of Young adult Male. No obvious decoration present that is distinguishable from taphonomic modifications, with the exception of dark black shiny staining on labial/buccal surfaces of most teeth (betel nut?). Generally uniform medium-light tan-brown in color, with darker patches of staining, mottled grey-white organic residue, roots (very minimal, in nasal; on right parietal), dark black and medium grey soil in orbits, nasal, right parietal and trace on mandible and teeth. Right frontal and parietal/frontal border region somewhat lighter (light tan); possible early-stage bleaching? Dried tissue present in basicranium, in sphenoid. Right zygo arch missing (broken ends weathered), left zygo arch shows weathering of inferior surface. Small patch of surface spalding on right orbit. No obvious trauma or osseous pathology. Teeth are all present (except lLC), minimally worn, with intact alveolar margins. LEH not assessable due to dark black (betel nut?) staining. Minimal calc. Right zygo arch missing. Maxilla:.
