Description:

Cranium with mandible of Young adult Male. No obvious decoration present that is distinguishable from taphonomic modifications. Skull is relatively clean with minimal soil and roots in both orbits, nasal, sphenoid and basicranium and endocranially. Color is relatively uniform light mottled tan-brown with light grey staining in places. Right zygo, temporal, most parietal, right occipital are stained a dark red-brown (probably from iron or manganese). Areas of postmortem breakage to both alveoli, nasal sill, left zygomatic. Mandibular condyles much lighter white in color, possibly bleached. No obvious trauma or osseous pathology. Dental pathology limited to minimal calc, minmal periodontal pitting, faint LEH pitting on the rLC. Left zygo loose and arch lost postmortem. Maxilla:. Mandible: Two measurements prevented due to postmortem enamel loss. Others due to occlusal wear.
