- Description:
- Cranium with mandible of Older Child Juvenile. Decoration limited to two loops of twisted fronds (reeds?), one each around both zygomatic arches. Skull relatively clean with very minimal dark black soil and one visible root. Color is mottled from light tan to darker brownish-red, with splotchy staining in numerous areas. Surface spalding and weathering also present in many locations, especially the frontal, parietals, left temporal, left mandibular ramii. Left side of the skull, especially the left side, is lighter in color than the right. No obvious trauma or osseous pathology. Teeth present are clean and unworn with no calculus to speak of. Several LEH lines visible on rLI2. Alveolar margin intact in both arcades with very minor pitting. Maxilla: UM3 traits scorable from crown features and size visible in right crypt. Root not formed. Mandible: Older child (teen). All teeth present permanent and unworn. M3s erupting or crypts just opening.
