The illustrated newspaper (monthly) colonial initially functioned under the title.: 'Übersee- und Kolonialzeitung’. From 1933 It appears as “Deutsche Kolonialzeitung.” The German Colonial Association shared current information, colonial-political correspondence (including Cameroon, Samoa, Togo, New Guinea), there was a review of geographical discoveries, technical innovations, statistical data, editorial news, and numerous advertisements at the end of each issue. The authors of the articles were, among others Albert Voigts; Wilhelm Mickausch; Dr. Külz; Paul Staudinger (German researcher and scholar in natural sciences, ethnology and colonial politics); Prof. Eduard Moritz and others. Two-column text, continuous pagination within the yearbook. The Elbląg Library in its collection has vintages from 1932-1941.
