292,1924.6 1924.6 175 The narrower vintage (a) is the closest in type (Forte.) Edge Partington, II, 45, No. 7, Samoa. The wider (b) is broken. Canoe length: 39 cm. Width: 4 cm. The Elder (a) length: 21 cm. The length of the blade: 7.5 cm. Width: 2.5 cm. Arun (b) (which has a slightly curved shaft end, as well as the above ex.), length: 20.5 cm. The length of the blade: 7.5 cm. Width: 3.5 cm. The Fortress is also seen by Edge Partington, I, 64 Niu6. Samoa Islands Oceania 4 Clubs. 176 Club. (Fig.). Type Edge Partington, I, 70, no 3. No. 176, however, is decorated along the sides of the leaf and the 'flat middle piece and with squares on the leaf in geometric ornamentation. Has at the end of the round shaft cut out a thin flat triangle with a hole for suspension & ng of the club. A similar establishment often occurs at Samoa clubs. Length: 88 cm.
