Historical Maps

Looking at historical maps shifts my perspective. Seeing how this title includes “New Discoveries” from the 1780s-1790s, while knowing now that we have access to satellite images of these areas. I take a lot of stuff for granted, I can easily view any part of this area digitally, while there are people who laid the ground work by mapping these areas centuries ago.
