TP+ 2019 Polyfest Launch

Over 12,000 students across Auckland are gearing up to perform at the biggest Polynesian festival in the world. The 2019 ASB Polyfest kicks off tomorrow, celebrating its 44th year. We take a look at the event’s launch, where students give a sneak peek before the big day.

So inspiring to see the pride that the young Pasifika in this video have for their cultural and academic communities, especially the importance they place on preserving their culture using Polyfest as a stage to vocalise their stories and the connections to their roots.
