Smaller island villages disappointed at Auckland Council's new plan for Pasifika Festival 2021

A change in the programme for Pasifika Festival 2021 has left a lot of the smaller island villages feeling "frustrated". ATEED (Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development), the branch of Auckland Council that oversees the event, have announced that the number of villages will be reduced for next year's event from 11 villages down to seven.
