International Coastal Clean-up Day (ICCD) 2022 waste collection statistics

Description:

To promote a Cleaner Pacific, Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme actively participated in the International Coastal Clean-up Day (ICCD) 2022, bringing together close to 2000 volunteers from 6 Pacific Island countries. The ICCD is the single largest coastal clean-up day in the world, and this is the second year SPREP has been involved in the activity through a colloborative effort between projects, partners and communities in the PacifiC.
