Test Baker, July 25, 1946

Description:
Test Baker, 21 kiloton yield, was the second nuclear explosion of Operation Crossroads. The bomb was suspended 90 feet underneath LSM 60 to create an underwater explosion. Detonated at 8:35 A.M. on July 25, 1946. Caption on slide mount: Baker. Bikini. July 25, 1946 Marshall Islands - Bikini Atoll
