what is it to hike as a family of six

I recall hiking with my family in the white mountians of new hamshire (US). the sling stone reminds me of brother and his freind who took a video on my phone of them throwing rocks off the top of a mountain ridge (Mount Whiteface I believe im not sure) to hit a point, not sure what there goal was but just the antics of my family as we explored these mountians is reminded to me when looking at this sling stone
