Pacific's terrible aviation disaster: sidelights on the loss of the Clipper. TOP LEFT: Captain Edwin C. Musick, with Mr. H. Gatty, Pan American Airways special representative in New Zealand, and members of the Clipper's crew coming ashore when the flying-boat reached Auckland on its initial visit last March.
