- Yacht cruising in the South Pacific: Auckland-owned Ngataki returns after unsuccessful search for treasure. The Ngataki, owned and sailed by Mr. J. W. Wray, returned on December 18 after cruising in the South Pacific since August. A visit was paid to Suwarrow Island, where a fruitless search was made for buried treasure, but Mr. Wray intends to make another search with the aid of electro-magnetic equipment.
