The island kingdom of Tonga mourns the death of a Princess: scenes at Nukualofa during the recent funeral of Princess Fusibala

Description:
The death in Sydney of Twenty year old Princess Fusibala of Tonga was announced on April 22. Daughter of King George II of Tonga and step daughter of the reigning Queen Sālote. The casket was taken to Suva on the liner Niagara. From there it was conveyed to Nukualofa, the Tongan seat of the Government, and the interment took place in the tombs of Kings. Left: The M.V.
