- She had started with seven years at Teharoto Māori School, Napier, then taught at Western Samoa's teacher-training college, before returning to New Zealand. Her husband, Keith had retired as principal of Naenae Primary School in 1987. A greyscale image was printed in the 'Leader' on May 17, 1988.
