- He came from Rarotonga, and had been at GM since 1967, and a fireman since 1973. The GM team had held the Martin Shield for local competition for six consecutive years, to 1986. A greyscale image was printed in the 'Leader' on June 21, 1988; the association would be collecting for Telethon during the weekend.
