James Millett, Jr. World War II Interview

Description:
MIllett graduated high school in Maine in 1941, and soon was helping build Liberty Ships in the Maine shipyards. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1942, and after boot camp at Parris Island, headed to air tactical and gunnery training. His squadron of B25 crews headed to New Caledonia, then Emirau, scouting and patrolling recently taken Japanes... Georgetown County (S.C.)
