Marines move equipment and ammo on ship and onto landing craft, like LSTs and LCVPs. On shore, equipment is unloaded, and Marines move out. Marines also land on shore on LVTs. Marines move through jungle on foot and dig in, and also on tracked vehicles which get stuck. Guam
