Description:
Te mwae teimoone. Shell currency. This long strand of shell currency consists of small pieces of white nouo (conus shell) and te nana (dark brown coconut shell) ground into small discs drilled at their centre and strung in an alternating monochrome pattern on a length of medium light brown fibre cord, tied off with extra loose thread braided at each end. The disc pieces are 4mm in diameter.
