Mataa toki

Description:
Mataa toki. Adze blade. Mataa toki are a multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. This mataa toki is made from fasua (clam shell). It is a smaller mataa toki, cut from a larger section of fasua. The cutting edge is curved and not particularly sharp, the bevel is small and slightly curved. The back of the toki is smooth and polished and the front has remnants of the natural striations of the fasua.
