Kali. Headrest. A carved from kau (wood), consisting of a wide rectangular rest, slightly flared towards each end. A strengthening bar carved along the length of the underside of the rest. The rest is supported by two yava ni kali (support legs) of a stepped, quadrangular shape that each sit on an oval base or 'foot' of kau. Dark brown colour.
